The Sonic Glider Launcher is a great project for kids and adults who love things that fly! This project is designed to launch a common foam glider in a large park up to sixty feet in the air for a flight of over half a minute long! The 170 foot long elastic and string launching system is secured to the ground with a common tent stake. After stretching the launch cord out, the end is attached to the glider launch hook, then released for a thrilling climb, launch cord detachment, and circular glide back to the ground. Build the launcher and make some minor modifications to your foam glider, then head to your favorite park to get some awesome glider time in.
